Buckhead Landscape and Design (BLD) began with a simple gesture—one man agreeing to serve his neighbor. After Stuart Ward agreed to help his neighbor take care of her yard, he saw an opportunity he previously hadn’t seen—the need for a local landscaper who took a truly professional approach to providing a valued service. Soon after, Buckhead Landscape and Design (Buckhead Turfcare then) was born!
As an engineer by trade, Stuart had the ingenuity to create project plans and solve problems for clients, as well as the professionalism to serve high-caliber clientele. Along with the desire to be a good neighbor, these traits became the foundation for how BLD runs its business: personal, professional, prompt, and precise.
Now a premier service provider in Atlanta, BLD serves homeowners and associations across the North Atlanta area, serving up sophisticated, eye-popping outdoor designs, as well as landscape maintenance.

Stuart began his career in corporate sales working in the chemical and environmental industries. As an entrepreneur at heart, he saw the potential for a new landscaping company in the North Atlanta metro area. Although there were many companies serving the market at that time, none took a truly professional approach to the business. By leveraging his experience in business with his passion for landscaping design he founded Buckhead Turfcare, LLC (now Buckhead Landscape and Design) in 1996.
Stuart Ward is designated a Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) through PLANET and is a Certified Pesticide Applicator in the state of Georgia. His favorite plants are the Camellia and the Mexican Petunia, and his favorite part of living in Atlanta is all the activities the city has to offer, such as the great concerts and events he attends with his wife.
Andrew Ward
General Manager

As General Manager, Andrew is relentlessly focused on exceeding customer expectations. A self-described perfectionist, Andrew manages the company’s day-to-day operations and is also involved in every project from start to finish. It’s important to him that no detail is overlooked because he understands how important it is to his clients. Andrew got his start in the industry as a chemical technician, but his passion for creating beautiful landscapes and outdoor living spaces eventually led him to pursue certifications in plant identification as well as hand-drawn, AutoCAD, and DynaScape design. He’s also a licensed CAT24 pesticide applicator and certified paver installer. While the summer heat can be brutal, Andrew does appreciate Atlanta for a climate that gives him the opportunity to use a wide variety of plant species within the landscapes he creates. His favorite plants are Spider Web Fatsia and Yuletide Camellia.
Cameron Searle

As an Account Manager, Cameron is responsible for developing relationships with recurring maintenance customers and ensuring they remain satisfied with our work. He maintains a consistent focus on quality service through frequent customer site visits and ongoing communication with the crews. An industry veteran with 14 years of experience, Cameron has a great depth of knowledge in all aspects of scheduling, timely service delivery and addressing customer concerns with effective solutions.
Jackson Martinez

Account Manager Jackson Martinez is part of the Account Manager team responsible for ensuring consistent and quality recurring maintenance services to BLD customers. With more than 10 years of landscape and construction experience, Jackson has a proven track record in maintaining customer relationships and ensuring quality work. Consistent communication with both customers and crews is one of his many strengths, along with being diligent, detail-oriented and highly organized, all in an effort to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Don Foglesong

With close to twenty years of experience in the landscape industry in both account management and project coordination, Don has in-depth knowledge of both landscape management and project design and installation. He loves to start from nothing and bring a yard to life with new sod and complimentary plants and trees. Don also loves taking on the challenge of creating an outdoor living space that no one thought possible, complete with barbecue grill and fire pit. He holds a certificate in plant identification and is a licensed turfcare applicator. As a lover of the outdoors, in his free time he enjoys taking motorcycle rides with his wife, and his favorite thing about Atlanta is watching the seasons change. His favorite plants are Limelight Hydrangeas and Azaleas.
Angie Foglesong
Sales and HR Administrator

Angie’s dual role at Buckhead Landscape and Design includes administrative support to the sales team and overseeing benefits, recruiting, training and payroll for Human Resources. Before joining BLD in 2019, Angie was an account executive for Clarins Fragrance Group and BVLGARI Perfumes responsible for territory sales and development and sales team recruiting and training. Angie’s a native of Southern California, and her favorite thing about living in Atlanta is having access to so many great places to meet up with family and friends. Her favorite plants and flowers are any that are brightly colored because vibrant colors make her happy.
Amanda Shelton

When it comes to billing and finance-related matters, Amanda is Buckhead Landscape and Design’s go-to person. She holds responsibility for invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and all financial reporting. Amanda has an extensive background in corporate finance and accounting and, since joining BLD in early 2022, has come to truly enjoy learning about the landscape industry and interacting with our customers.
A native of Delaware, Amanda relocated to the Atlanta area when her children were young, in part, because of the many available opportunities. Today, she continues to appreciate the area for making it easy to find something fun and interesting to do virtually every day of the week. Her favorite flower is the “cheerful” Azalea because of the wide variety of colors that are available.

Our maintenance and installation team members have over 80 years of landscape experience combined. They regularly receive industry-related professional development training and continuing education in order to apply current knowledge and techniques to lawncare, maintenance, and installation.
